Shirley Yu for Ximon Lee lookbook

Shirley Yu was born in 1994 in Beijing. Based in NYC, she is a digital photographer shooting fashion and portraiture. She has a lighthearted, modernist approach to her work, and her aesthetic is between minimalism and maximalism, utilizing aspects of both. In every photo, she likes to use color theory to evoke feelings, and experiments with different lines/shapes.

She is a junior at Rutgers University with a major in Information Technology and minor in Computer Science. She is also the photo director of Rutgers’ Trim Magazine.
