Mola user: Polina Osherov – Living Doll shootWe recently came across a lovely shoot by talented Indianapolis fashion photographer, Polina Osherov. Here Polina uses a speedlight mounted on the Mola Lumi bracket with the 22″ Demi.
One of the advantages of using a speedlight with a softlight, such as the 22″ Demi, is the ability to produce really low lighting (without the need to use ND {neutral density} filters over more powerful lights) and the compact, portable nature of such a setup. Mola spotted: Nelson Simoneau shoots Coco Rochaspotted! We spot a 33″ white Mola Euro used by incredible photographer, Nelson Simoneau as he photographs model Coco Rocha for the May 2011 issue of ELLE Québec. Wardrobe is from the world renowned designer, Jean Paul Gaultier. His 35 years of fashion design will be on display at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, including over 120 haute couture dresses and ready-to-wear pieces made from 1976 – 2011. In honour of this exhibition, ELLE magazine commisioned an exclusive editorial featuring pieces from JPG’s collection. Below is a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot, as well as the finals…

The sets were simple yet highly effective and a great example of lighting up 2 models, Shalom Harlow and Eva Herzigova, with a Mantti.
